You can create stationery using the Mail Format options. Keep in mind that you can alwayschange the stationery for individual messages.

1. On the File tab, click Options:

Here’s how to apply a theme from the Themes gallery: In Word and Excel, click the Ribbon’s Home tab. In the Themes group, click the Themes button. When you click the Themes button, the themes gallery displays. All elements in the document or workbook that respond to theme colors and fonts will be affected. Begin by launching Microsoft Outlook 2016 for Mac. On the menu bar at the top of the screen, click 'Outlook' and then click 'Preferences'. On the window that pops up, click 'Accounts'. Click 'Exchange or Office 365'. Enter the following: Enter your email address (yourID@uoguelph.ca) under 'E-mail address'. Only change the background on this computer. Go to File Options. Under Personalize your copy of Microsoft Office, pick an Office Background from the list.

2. In the Outlook Options dialog box, on the Mailtab, click the Stationery and Fonts... button:

If you want to remove the default stationery, select the (No Theme) stationery.

4. Click OK.

When you create a new message, Outlook uses the stationery you selected as a visual template.

Note: If you need to apply a stationery to a single message, do the following:

3. Under Choose a Theme, click the theme or stationerythat you want, and then click OK.

1. With your Outlook inbox open, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of your screen.

2. Select a theme from the 'Featured' list.

3. If you don't see anything you like, click on 'View all' to see all of the library's themes.

4. Choose the theme you want, then click 'Save' to confirm your choice.

How to set your inbox theme to dark mode in Outlook on a Mac

1. Click the Apple icon in the upper left corner.

2. Select 'System Preferences.'

3. Pick 'General.'

4. Choose either 'Dark' or 'Auto' mode for your computer.

5. Launch the Outlook Macbook app.

6. Select 'Outlook' from the top menu bar.

7. Choose 'Preferences' from the dropdown menu.

9. Under 'Personalize,' make sure the 'Turn off Dark Mode' box isn't selected. If it is, uncheck it.

1. Open your Outlook desktop app.

2. Click 'File.'

3. Select 'Options' from the left blue column.
