Step 1: Unpin the apps.

For this, you need to right-click on the Taskbar. This opens the options, disable the Task View from here. Click on the Show Task View button, and it will remove the checkmark from it.

Open the Taskbar options by right-clicking on Taskbar. Uncheck the Show Cortana button.
