Im trying to have Neo Geo games separated from mame games, and I found some issues:
-I have GnGeo fully working with ps3 controllers, but the fullscreen mode is not working. I tried -f in code, and the gngeorc file has fullscreen true and scale 2×50 effect.
-FBA works well but ps3 controllers don’t have DPAD support, and playing some games with analog controls sucks.
-Imame4all works well too with Neo Geo games (if the games are in MAME directory), but if I copy the code “COMMAND=/home/pi/RetroPie/emulators/RetroArch/installdir/bin/retroarch -L /home/pi/RetroPie/emulatorcores/imame4all-libretro/libretro.so –config /home/pi/RetroPie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg –appendconfig /home/pi/RetroPie/configs/mame/retroarch.cfg %ROM%” to the Neo Geo command line, it runs retroarch menu.
Someone can help me??

not possible… use pifba or fba retroarch
add video_threaded = true on retroach.cfg
and audio rate 44100

If you have a Pi 3 and are using lr-fba-next, search Google for 'fba 0.2.97.38 reference set' and that will give you the correct ROMs. If you have a Pi Zero and are using PiFBA, the correct ROMs are harder to come. Because it's very simple to find it. After you found it, put it in the same folder as your NeoGeo roms. By the way, the FB Alpha Neo Geo core on the 3DS is using the previous FB Alpha 0.2.97.29 build (known also as FB Alpha 2012). The rom naming scheme should be for this version (because it can change in later versions). I play Neo Geo ROMs for a long time some of my played games are: Samurai Shodown IV, The King of Fighters 2002, Metal Slug 4 Plus and many more, but I don't collect them on my PC because I don't have the memory to do it so I just download them from this website and for now, I'm very satisfied.
